Lead IT Site Support Specialist – Rialto Management Group, LLC

Summary

The Lead IT Site Support Specialist position provides Rialto Associates local on- site support for all computers, tablets and mobile devices and audiovisual equipment. Provides support for the local area network, and equipment including MAC and audiovisual support. Responsible to troubleshoot audio and video equipment. The Lead Site Site Support Specialist provides timely and courteous user support for technical issues relating to the use and operation of Rialto hardware and software. The Lead Site Support Specialist works closely with other members of the IT Department internally and third-party vendors externally-ensuring excellent customer service is provided while meeting the defined service level agreement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoots and resolves computer workstation issues, both software and hardware related
  • Enacts manufacturer’s warranties for equipment repair
  • Maintains tickets in Help Desk ticketing system and updates tickets with appropriate current statuses daily
  • Provides accurate, scientific, and reproducible written details on tickets resolution
  • Meets internal Site Administrator SLA
  • Resolves printer and copier issues
  • Arranges and coordinates technical support for meetings and events, including video conferencing and traditional audio/visual needs
  • Preventative maintenance and firmware updates
  • Strong grasp equipment functionality
  • Comfortable interacting with and understanding clients’ needs and managing expectations
  • Ability to provide the highest level of service & controlling situations in a high stress environment
  • Maintains, upgrades, installs, or replaces hardware (Lenovo/MAC) and software as required
  • Reports instances of server downtime, LAN/WAN connectivity issues immediately to manager and helpdesk team
  • Performs basic troubleshooting on LAN/WAN connectivity under the direction and guidance of telecommunications or network team
  • Produces a weekly status report to manager summarizing forward looking work as well as outstanding issues
  • Monitors and assists with coordinating the activities of third-party support contractors
  • MAC knowledge at an enterprise level (IOS, MAC OS)
  • Performs other duties as assigned by manager

Specifications

  • College diploma or University degree in the field of computer science and/or 5 years equivalent work experience.
  • ITIL experience – preferred but not required
  • Strong familiarity with Apple products (mobile devices, tablets, and common apps) in an enterprise setting
  • Apple Certifications such as ACMT, ACSA, ACSP – preferred but not required
  • Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows 10 and Office 365
  • Well versed in Microsoft Office settings, functions, and usage
  • Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills are required
  • Strong technical documentation and writing skills are required
  • Good understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives
  • Highly self-motivated and self-directed
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Some off-site travel may be required to support remote users and/or satellite offices
  • Candidate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds

Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the Associate is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop. The Associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Evening or weekend work may be necessary to meet deadlines.
