Office Clerk – Part time

Summary

SUMMARY

The Office Clerk will keep the office clean, and in orderly condition. Performing disinfecting duties and maintenance of areas not covered by the cleaning company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Bathrooms
    • Disinfect all touch points daily including but not limited to: counter-tops, doors and door handles, toilet flush buttons, toilet stall doors
  • Kitchen
    • Disinfect all touch points daily including but not limited to: appliance handles and controls, sink faucet,
    • Clean coffee makers, microwave, water machine, coffee machines
    • Disinfect refrigerator exterior and handles daily
    • Deep clean refrigerator interiors once a week
    • Clean and disinfect kitchen counter-tops and tables daily
    • Refill cups, coffee pods, creamer, sugar, dish soap, paper towels, utensils
    • Refill refrigerator with water and sodas daily
    • Empty out coffee reserves daily
    • Refill hand sanitizer dispenser daily
  • Reception
    • Disinfect all touch points including but not limited to: elevator buttons, doors and door handles, reception desk, coffee table
    • Refill hand sanitizer dispenser daily
  • Conference Rooms
    • Disinfect all touch points daily including but not limited to: doors & door handles, light switches, conference tables, credenzas
    • Refill hand sanitizer dispenser daily
  • Copy Rooms
    • Disinfect all touch points daily including but not limited to: counter-tops, copy machine controls, light switches, door handles, cabinet doors, water filter
  • Other areas & duties
    • Disinfect all doors, door handles and light switches on the floor including private offices and coat closet
    • Refill all hand sanitizer dispensers
    • Disinfect other areas upon request

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

  • Detail oriented – pays attention to details at each customer’s location, with extra attention to any special requests
  • Friendly and Professional – able to deal with customers when they are on-site while cleaning is being performed
  • Self-starter – able to identify work that needs to be done and do it without being instructed to do so
  • Reasoning ability. Good common sense with ability to solve practical problems

WORKING CONDITIONS:

While performing the duties of this job, the Associate is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop.  The Associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.  [Evening or weekend work may be necessary to meet deadlines.]
