Sr. Acccountant – Financial Reporting – Rialto Management Group, LLC

Summary

This position reports to the VP of Financial Reporting. This position is responsible for preparing deliverables related to the Company’s external and internal financial reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of the financial statements for the various reporting entities of the Company, including the balance sheet, income statement, statement of cash flows and related footnotes
  • Prepare and maintain supporting documentation related to financial statement disclosures
  • Adherence to internal controls and SOX compliance related to external reporting requirements
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly earnings release to ensure compliance with GAAP
  • Preparation of the Company’s reporting requirements, including quarterly and annual reports, SEC Forms, SEC Compliance, offering memorandums, debt covenants, etc.
  • Assist with external financial reporting processes and coordination of audit relationship as it relates to the consolidated financial statements
  • Research latest accounting literature and disclosure requirements and ensure that the Company’s external reports are in accordance with GAAP (and potentially, IFRS)
  • Assist in assessing issues and impact of technical accounting matters
  • Produce monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports including performance of analyses of such reports in order to provide management with necessary information regarding the financial activities of the Company
  • Any ad hoc reporting requests from management

Specifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • CPA strongly preferred
  • A minimum of three (3) years of financial accounting & reporting experience either with a Big 4 firm or private organization
  • Big 4 preferred with SEC clientele
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS is a plus
  • Good understanding of accounting and business processes
  • Experience with Essbase/Smartview or other report writer strongly preferred
  • Must have excellent skills in Excel (pivot tables, functions, formulas), Word, Power Point
  • Must have strong analytical skills
  • Highly organized with focus on process discipline
  • Must have excellent communications and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to work under little to no supervision
  • Must be proactive in a constantly changing environment
  • Must be available for weekend and after hour work which includes and is not limited to responding to emails in a timely manner and completing tasks based on directives given by supervisors

Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the Associate is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop. The Associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Evening or weekend work may be necessary to meet deadlines.
